Thanks to the generosity of donors, now our children can be all together in Casa Padre Wasson. The new home in Jinotepe will have a capacity of 500 children once all the constructions are finished. One of our most urgent needs for the moment is the third phase of our decentralised wastewater treatment system (for the kitchen, vocational workshops, administration offices and clinic, but especially for the elementary and secondary school since the school building will be needed for the next school year starting February 2011).

The design for the third phase of our wastewater treatment system will be the same as in phase one and two. It was developed by German engineer Guenther Klatte and has proved it´s value in phase one and two. We will use the same filter system and continue to achieve a fully biological purification according to the legal environmental standards in Nicaragua. The treatment system works without electricity or added chemicals. The treated wastewater will be used for irrigation of green areas, gardens and our agricultural programs in order to save the valuable asset on the property, our clean drinking water from the well.
